Overview
The protection and confidentiality of your data matter to us. As a personnel consultancy, Human Professional Personalberatung AG processes personal data with care and solely within the framework of applicable data protection law, including the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, where applicable, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This statement explains what data we collect, why we process it, with whom we share it and what rights you have, whether you visit our website, get in touch with us or apply for a position.
Responsible party
The party responsible for data processing is Human Professional Personalberatung AG, Wright-Strasse 9, 8152 Glattpark (Opfikon), Switzerland. You can reach us by phone on +41 44 267 90 90 or by email at info@humanpro.ch.
What data we process
When you visit our site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server information such as your browser type, the pages accessed and the date and time of your visit. This information is technical in nature and serves the security and stability of the website.
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide solely to handle your enquiry.
When you apply, we process the data needed to assess and place you, typically your name and contact details, date of birth, nationality, civil status, salary expectations, CV and references, qualifications, language skills and our correspondence with you. We receive this data directly from you and, only with your consent, from the references and public sources you point us to.
We treat all application documents in strict confidence.
Why we process your data
We use your data to recruit, assess and place candidates, to communicate with you, to provide and improve our services, to keep our systems secure and to meet our legal obligations.
Depending on the case, our legal basis is the performance of a contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interest in running the consultancy, or a legal obligation.
Sharing your data
We share your candidate profile with a potential employer only with your explicit, case-by-case consent. We never pass your details on without it.
IT and service providers that support our operations may process data on our behalf; they are bound by contract to confidentiality and to using the data only as instructed. Where data is transferred abroad, we protect it with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as it is needed for the placement or business relationship and to meet our legal obligations.
With your consent, we may retain your profile beyond that so we can consider you for future opportunities. You can withdraw that consent at any time, after which we delete your data unless we are legally required to keep it.
Cookies
Our website may set a single functional cookie that remembers your chosen language so the pages display correctly. It contains no personal information and is not used for advertising or tracking.
Your rights
You have the right to know which personal data we hold about you and to request its correction, deletion or restriction. You may object to certain processing and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time with future effect.
To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

We may update this privacy statement from time to time so that it always reflects how we work and the current legal position. The version published on this page applies.
